ACTIVITY TIME
(9:20) FREE PLAY among all activities….Teacher talks
and shares affection with the children. Teacher WORKS ONE ON ONE with a child
to help him/her learn colors, shapes, letter names and sounds, their phone
number, sight words, reading, etc.
(10:00) SNACK TIME
(10:15)
GROUP ACTIVITY TIME
(10:30) FREE PLAY among all activities…Teacher
talks and shares affection with the children. Teacher WORKS ONE ON ONE with a
child to help him/her learn colors, shapes, letter names and sounds, their
phone number, sight words, reading, etc.
(11:10) CLEAN UP
(11:15) CIRCLE TIME: story, songs, finger-plays, movements, or games.
(11:30) SUPERVISED OUTDOOR PLAY
(Noon) SAY GOODBYE
While the above scheduled times are FLEXIBLE, it is evident that indoor
and outdoor free play total approximately 2 hours; Group Time / Circle Time /
Snack Time total approximately 50 minutes; leaving 10 minutes for
“Welcome” and clean up. Play and individual choice are the foundation
of the preschool program.
